This is my project for RPM 2024. I was originally going to try and re-vamp some old projects but I quickly realized I was losing steam with a DAW, so logically I went DAWless for the first time. The goal was to fill a 90 minute tape with anything I could fathom playing, and I 100% did that. Hopefully at least a couple tracks are enjoyable, but with these being my first DAWless jams it's safe to say not every first set of steps is a stable one lmao.

I'll throw this in the credits because I'm using them for gear used on each track anyways.
Being my first DAWless album I hardly have the setup for it. I was recording straight into the mic input of a Technics M226X, meaning at any time I could only have 2 hard panned left and right inputs. I've done stuff like this before under that limitation, but not to this degree. I mixed everything to my liking in post and added a reverb tail to each channel because without it everything was incredibly dry.
On an irrelevant note, god bless DBX noise reduction and Maxell still making good quality tape. Shoutout to weed for at least a half hour's worth of this tape, even if it isn't a very good half hour.
